Version 10.2.8, Altered the way the time is announced to make it easier to hear and understand. Altered the text that appears during the time announcement. You can now hide the MsAgent character and STILL have speech, so you can use the clock without the character almost (it's still loaded, just doesn't show).

Version 10.2.2 to 10.2.5. Fixed a few bugs and added some minor features. Also prepared the interface to enable skinning using programs like WindowBlinds, small alterations were needed.

Version 10.2.1, Re added scrolling or moving MsAgent characters. The removal was a trial to see whether the moving of the characters was causing problems. It wasn't and the effect was missed by people. I have also now added (OPTIONAL) support for WebHancer's customer companion software. This can be skipped during installation of UK Speaking Clock's update or full version. A couple of other minor bugs were fixed.

Version 10.1.9 to 10.2.0, Change the way in which the characters move around etc.. This takes up a lot less resources from Windows. Also added more help links to call the help file. A few minor bug fixes too.

Version 10.1.7 to 10.1.8, Added some error trapping to make sure the character always displays or loads the original default char. Also reduced the amount of time the clock accesses the Internet to check for an update to once per day instead of every time you run the software.

Version 10.1.6, Removed the splash screen that people found annoying.

Version 10.1.5, Fixed a problem with the alarm window. Due to additional components, you couldn't close the window after an alarm had been announced.

Version 10.1.2 to 10.1.4, Added some new settings and fixed some old settings too. Added splash screen to show that the clock is loading. Fixed a problem where the date window showed when the clock was in analogue mode. A few other minor bug fixes.

Version 10.1.1, Fixed a couple of issues with the timer, it now doesn't flash as much and the MsAgent control is a lot better. Also changed a couple of pictures in the settings menu and added a new menu to the Quick settings box.

Version 10.1.0, Skin sizer added, you can now physically enlarge or shrink the digital display from 20% of it's normal size to 300% of it's normal size. You can also choose from 3 different sizes of the Analogue display too.

Version 10.0.6 to 10.0.9, Refined the analogue clock now, you can choose any of the free skins or even use your own. Fixed a couple of minor bugs, updated the speaking calculator so that you can use the keyboard to make entries along with the mouse. Tidied the interface up a little.

Version 10.0.5, Hindi time announcement now added, along with a little bug fix that stopped the clock from hiding.

Version 10.0.4, you can now use your own picture as an analogue skin for this clock.

Version 10.0.1 to 10.0.3, multilingual capabilities added to UK Speaking Clock, there are currently 6 languages supported by this software. Users are encouraged to add their own language if it is not supported.

Version 10.0.0, Analogue clock face added to UK Speaking Clock, this give you the option of having a digital skinnable interface, or an skinnable analogue interface with moving hands. A few minor alterations have also been made. A few new digital and analogue skins added

Sorted out the auto update feature a little more to detect bad downloads etc.. Added a download window, showing you that the clock is still downloading. A few other minor alterations, an alarm window now pops up to show you that there is an alarm or appointment waiting for you.

Removed the icons as added before, too many people were having problems with their OWN display settings, causing problems with the icons. Tidied up the settings window. Fixed an issue with the calculator not speaking when the characters were minimized. A few other adjustments.

The new icons in the Settings window don't seem to like a color depth less than 32 bit, so I've added a little detection routine to stop them showing at any less resolution.

Because there have been so many improvements to the clock lately, I have now changed the version number to 9.0.0 so that people who don't normally update, will do so this time. I have also finalized the changes to the timer now and it's running very well. The little problem with the right hand side of the skins being chopped is now resolved. A few icons have been added to the menus to make them look a little nicer and the help file for the clock has been updated.

Version 8.6.6

The stopwatch and timer are now even better than before, with more Right click options. The settings window has been given a face lift too. Speaking Calculator has been improved and now fully supports large font mode.

Version 8.6.5

You can now set an unlimited amount of count down timers and stopwatches. These are separate programs which use the same skin as the clock to display your countdown timer or stopwatch. You can also have your Internet connection terminated when the counter reaches 0.

Version 8.6.3 and 8.6.4

New character sizing tools added to the settings menu. Found a few bugs in the startup code for new users. Altered the installation wizard so that people don't have to wait until the characters have finished talking. Various other additions made.

Version 8.6.2

Great new skin viewer added, it's now a LOT easier to view any skin installed for UK Speaking Clock, not just a list of what you can get. The install wizard has been updated to reflect the mode choice in the settings window. A few little alterations have been made and there are a load of new skins available for download from the Speaking Clock web site.

Now added start menu shortcut for Type and Speak feature, so that you don't have to go through all the menus to access this feature. Also fixed problem with the add on's NOT WORKING in some unregistered versions. If your MsAgent character goes off screen to the right, then he will automatically correct this and go to the left.
