Version 6.1.4, Fixed issues with
computers going in to standby mode, causing the program to miss the next check
time. Other minor alterations
Version 6.1.1 to 6.1.2, Added a
new email notification graphic/window, few internal changes.
Version 6.1.0. Altered quite a
few things around, lowered the price of Speaking Email Deluxe in line with other
software of similar capabilities. Added a couple of new small features and
started a new version minor number (6.1).
Version 6.0.2 Added great new pop
up alerts, you can now have Microsoft style pop ups when you have emails
waiting.
Version 6.0.1 Refined the HTML
email section even more so that it doesn`t read as much of the HTML in an html
email. Added the ability to show the size of the emails on the server. Fixed a
problem relating to emails that don`t have a subject line. Added a triple check
routine when the connection to the POP3 server fails for whatever reason. If an
email check fails for some reason, the next check will be scheduled for 4
minutes ahead instead of the user defined time. Added abort icon/button to main
interface to stop a mail check if you need or want to. Made improvements to the
built in speaking calculator and added a new calculator icon to the main
interface.
Version 6.0.0. Speaking Email Deluxe can now ready MOST! HTML emails. These days
a lot of the emails that you receive are in HTML format. There are a few
different kinds of HTML emails, the most popular ones being embedded html
emails. The Interface has also been tidied up a little. Modified the email alert
feature.
Versions 5.7.4 to 5.7.7, The cost of Speaking Email Deluxe has been increased to
$20 due the the ever increasing costs of distributing the software. A speaking
calculator has been added to the main interface.
Version 5.7.2 to 5.7.3, Altered the way in which the window is moved around the
screen to combat a compatibility issue with Win95 and 2000. Also added a new
feature in the Online logger section where you can make the character speak a
message when your Internet connection is started or dropped.
Version 5.7.1, Fixed a problem with the shareware version expiring before time.
Also SKINNED the main interface now to give it a better smoother appearance.
Version 5.6.5, Fixed the sending of Speaking Emails to other people. There was a
problem with the compiling of the HTML email which was needed for the email to
speak and use MsAgents. Also made a couple of other small changes.
Version 5.6.4, Made the error reporting
on Speaking Email Deluxe a lot more user friendly. Also made the task bar icon
change every 2 seconds when mail is waiting. Made the program keep on checking
for mail even after there was an error, user confirmation is no longer essential
before operation will begin again.
Version 5.6.3, Added an Email Saver; Screen Saver. Also
fixed the scanning routine where it was still stopping scanning for no reason.
Version 5.6.2, stopped the window going
to the left when the auto menus were being scrolled. Added a pop up window which
reminds you how to show the main window again when you minimize it. This will
show for 10 times and then stop being shown. Fixed a major bug that would stop
checking for email in the middle of the current scan. It would then not start
again until the program was turned off and on again.
Version 5.6.1, Altered the way
that HTML emails are handled. Added this new help file. Updated the email engine
to a newer version.
Version 5.5.3 to 5.6.0, Altered the expand and shrink
routines to allow room for the tab menus to scroll out without disappearing off
screen. Added option to disconnect after checking email (only when Speaking
Email Deluxe instigated the connection to the net). Fixed a few bugs. Altered
the task bar icon right click menus.
Version 5.5.2, fixed the session error in the on line
logger, this time it really is for good.
Version 5.5.0: Fixed the ON Line logger for good this
time. Altered a couple of other routines.
Version 5.1.5, fixed a small problem with the version
checking routine over the Internet. The software won't try to check the version
all the time now.
Versions up to 5.1, fixed a few little problems,
including the one where the account active status was incorrect AFTER checking
email.
Versions up to 5.0.2. General tidying up and bug
fixing. Major addition; you can now run Speaking Email Deluxe as a registered
version by displaying a banner advertisement on your screen for as long as you
are running this software. To install this support, just download the latest
FULL version or UPDATE of this software, then go in to the settings window to
make the change.
Version 4.6.7. Removed icons from tab's due to system restrictions with some
machines. Removed SOME shareware restrictions for a fuller trial period. Fixed
the online timer and sorted out a couple of other issues.
Version 4.6.6. Email alerts section now added. You can be notified when a
particular email is waiting for you, and have your own message announced.
Version 4.6.4 and 4.6.5, a few changes have been made. More characters have
been added to the non-speaking list for HTML emails. A couple of icons have been
added to the tab control to make it look a little nicer and a few internal
changes have been made too.
Version 4.6.3, online time logger now fixed, update notification now added.
Version 4.6.2, new character viewer added and a few security updates made.
Version 4.6.0, Send email feature is now fully working again, after adding
the Bcc field. Speaking Email Deluxe does not repeat emails anymore, even if you
don't delete them off the server.
Version 4.5.1, You can now have your system clock automatically set to
the Internet times servers time. This allows for a very accurate clock.
Version 4.5, You can now type in command line options or switches in to the
email program filed to call programs like Netscape mail. Bcc field added to the
send email section and you can now attach files with emails and speaking emails.
Version 4, The window now stays up for 15 seconds after checking email. The
character should now hide when told to do so and various little alterations.
Version 3.0.6, even better error explanations now, socket 52 errors are now
split in to individual errors and explanations.
Version 3.0.5, Better explanation of errors included, easy links in the about
box, a few little alterations.
Version 3.0.2, New icons added. The taskbar icon now shows you whether you
have email or not, the flag goes up when you have email and down when you don't.
Smart Menus are now better than before and new help data added. You can also
disable Speaking Email Deluxe now, so that you may connect without having to
check every time.
Version 3.0.1, Online timer now fully functional. Smart menus added, they are
cool!. The time can now be spoken at a pre set frequency and a few internal
changes.
Version 2.3.0. Online time logging now added. You can see how long you have
been online per session, month and year. A few internal fixes made too.
Version 2.2.6. Sorted out the problem with Permanent connections. Speaking
Email Deluxe now scans at the correct interval even with a permanent connection

graphic for speak clipboard. Menus are in order, and available from the RIGHT
click menu. New installer introduced, a few problems with the conversion, but
otherwise all is okay.
